Jörg M. Krütten

Joerg M. Kruetten is a Partner of SIMON - KUCHER & PARTNERS and head of the company's medical device competence center. He is specialized in strategic corporate development, mergers & acquisitions, marketing and pricing.

Within multinational assignments he has supported several leading healthcare companies in sustainably improving their business performance. He is working for clients such as Bayer, Chiron, Eli Lilly, Genzyme, Johnson & Johnson, Novartis, Sankyo and Schering.

Prior to joining SIMON - KUCHER & PARTNERS in 1997, Mr. Kruetten worked as a consultant with Andersen Consulting (today Accenture). Throughout his studies he was engaged as an assistant manager with his family's business, which is specialized in R&D and OEM manufacturing of medical devices for companies such as Fresenius, Guerbet, Olympus, Richard Wolf, Smith & Nephew, Stryker and WOM.

Mr. Kruetten gained three years of experience in the area of mergers & acquisitions, during which he has worked as Vice President Corporate Development for the Bitburger Beverage Group. Within this engagement he successfully completed M&A transactions and post transaction integration projects in Germany and Eastern Europe.

Joerg M. Kruetten has published several articles on management topics. He is an external lecturer at the University of Basel (Switzerland) and a speaker at international conferences. He studied mechanical and business engineering at the Technical Universities of Munich and Karlsruhe, specializing in corporate development.
